We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Special Science Teacher I (SHS) to join our academic team in Northern Mindanao. Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the DepEd K-12 SHS curriculum for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) strands.
- Utilize diverse teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles, including inquiry-based learning and hands-on laboratory experiments.
- Integrate modern educational technologies and digital tools to enhance student engagement and participation.
- Conduct regular assessments, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of student academic progress.
- Facilitate extracurricular science clubs, research competitions, and school-wide scientific initiatives.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members to improve curriculum standards and departmental outcomes.
- Provide individualized mentorship to students, especially those preparing for college entrance exams and science-related research projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with a major in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or a related field; a Master’s degree is a distinct advantage.
- Must possess a valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) License (LET passer).
- Demonstrable experience teaching Senior High School students in a formal educational setting.
- Strong command of pedagogical strategies suitable for the STEM strand.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire diverse groups of learners.
- Willingness to adapt to evolving curriculum requirements and institutional guidelines.
