Responsibility
- Develop and implement individualized therapeutic plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate children's developmental progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions focusing on cognitive, emotional, and social skills.
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and recommendations for ongoing support.
- Advocate for inclusive education practices and support the integration of children with special needs into mainstream classrooms.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Stay updated on best practices in special needs therapy and apply evidence-based techniques in your work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children with special needs, preferably in an educational or therapeutic setting.
- Strong understanding of developmental disabilities, learning disorders, and therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's growth and well-being.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to diverse cultural contexts.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is preferred.
- Certification or training in special needs therapy (e.g., ABA, speech therapy, occupational therapy) is a plus.
