Responsibility
- Design, develop, and implement interactive H5P learning modules that align with educational objectives and curriculum standards.
- Collaborate with instructional designers to transform educational content into engaging, interactive experiences using H5P's suite of tools.
- Customize and extend H5P content types to create unique, project-specific learning activities (e.g., interactive videos, quizzes, simulations, and branching scenarios).
- Ensure all H5P content is responsive, accessible, and optimized for performance across devices and learning management systems (LMS).
- Integrate H5P content with existing LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, WordPress, or custom solutions) and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Conduct quality assurance testing to identify and resolve bugs, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
- Stay updated on H5P developments, e-learning trends, and emerging technologies to continuously improve content quality and innovation.
- Provide documentation and training materials for educators and administrators on how to use and modify H5P content.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an H5P Developer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing interactive learning content (please include links or samples).
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, with the ability to customize H5P content types and create custom interactions.
- Experience integrating H5P content with LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, WordPress, Canvas) and familiarity with SCORM/xAPI standards.
- Solid understanding of instructional design principles and best practices for creating effective e-learning content.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote freelance environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, error-free content.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
