Responsibility
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each child’s unique needs, strengths, and challenges.
- Conduct behavioral assessments and apply Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to support positive development.
- Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists to create integrated intervention strategies.
- Monitor and document progress, milestones, and behavioral changes using data-driven approaches.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to enhance social, communication, and cognitive skills.
- Educate and train parents and caregivers on effective strategies to support learning at home.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages engagement and growth.
- Stay updated on best practices in special education and behavioral therapy through continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, Behavioral Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in special education, behavioral therapy, or early intervention.
- Certification in ABA, TEACCH, or other recognized behavioral therapy programs is a plus.
- Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders (ASD), ADHD, and other developmental disabilities.
- Excellent communication, patience, and empathy with a child-centered approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to diverse cultural contexts.
- Fluency in English (additional languages, such as Indonesian, are advantageous).
- Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to making a difference in children’s lives.
