Responsibility
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique learning requirements.
- Utilize diverse, evidence-based instructional strategies to support students with varying disabilities and learning styles.
- Collaborate closely with parents, school administrators, and support staff to track student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of student performance and behavioral development.
- Create a supportive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages academic growth and social-emotional learning.
- Adapt curriculum materials and assessments to accommodate individual student needs and accessibility requirements.
- Provide one-on-one or small-group instruction to reinforce core concepts and build student confidence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (e.g., Elementary Education with a specialization in SPED).
- Valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) License for Teachers (LET).
- Proven experience working with children with diverse learning needs or developmental disabilities.
- Strong understanding of inclusive education practices and current special education laws and policies.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a high level of professional integrity.
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques for special education settings.
