Responsibility

  • Design and implement age-appropriate, engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood development milestones.
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued and encouraged to explore.
  • Monitor and assess each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, providing personalized support as needed.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication, progress reports, and parent-teacher meetings.
  • Incorporate play-based learning and creative activities to stimulate imagination, problem-solving, and motor skills.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and resource-rich classroom that promotes independence and curiosity.
  • Participate in staff training, workshops, and professional development to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
  • Support school-wide events, extracurricular activities, and community initiatives to enhance the learning experience.

Qualifications

  • A diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, Teaching, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with young children (ages 2-6) in a school, daycare, or similar setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development theories and early learning frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young learners.
  • Familiarity with Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or other progressive teaching methodologies is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and create an inclusive environment for all children.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages, such as Bahasa Indonesia, are beneficial).
