Responsibility
- Deliver structured mental arithmetic lessons tailored to students aged 4–12, using age-appropriate techniques.
- Create a positive, engaging classroom environment that motivates students to participate and excel.
- Assess individual progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Develop and adapt teaching materials to suit different learning styles and skill levels.
- Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving through interactive games and exercises.
- Collaborate with parents to reinforce learning goals and track developmental milestones.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and lesson plans.
- Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and mental arithmetic methodologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching children (mental arithmetic, math, or early education preferred).
- Strong command of English (additional Bahasa Indonesia or Mandarin is a plus).
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with young learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and parents.
- Ability to create a structured yet fun learning atmosphere.
- Basic knowledge of mental arithmetic techniques (e.g., abacus, soroban) is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including weekends or evenings if required.
- Teaching certification or relevant degree (e.g., Education, Early Childhood) is a bonus.
