Responsibility

  • Assist the Head Chef in planning, prepping, and executing high-quality dishes for daily service.
  • Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety, hygiene, and presentation standards.
  • Develop and refine recipes in alignment with seasonal ingredients and guest preferences.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs while minimizing waste.
  • Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure timely and accurate meal delivery.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment compliant with health regulations.
  • Step in for the Head Chef during absences, overseeing all kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate on special events, private dining, and menu innovations to enhance guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Line Cook in a high-volume or fine-dining establishment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized institution.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong knowledge of international cuisines, cooking techniques, and food trends.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Spanish) are a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
