Responsibility
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in menu planning and development, including seasonal and special dishes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment in compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and consistent food preparation and presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Handle guest feedback professionally and make adjustments to dishes when necessary.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional cooking experience in a restaurant, hotel, or resort setting.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian and international cuisine, with the ability to prepare a variety of dishes.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a positive attitude.
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Basic proficiency in English is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
