Responsibility
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for sheet metal, CNC machining, and other manufacturing components.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to align sourcing strategies with project requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to secure reliable and timely material supply.
- Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to make data-driven sourcing decisions.
- Manage procurement processes, including RFQs, purchase orders, and supplier agreements.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably in the manufacturing or precision engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, or related manufacturing processes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze supplier performance data and make strategic recommendations.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
