Responsibility
- Supplier Development: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers while enhancing the capabilities of existing partners to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Strategic Sourcing: Lead sourcing activities for direct and indirect materials, negotiating contracts to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Project Management: Drive cross-functional projects to improve supplier performance, reduce lead times, and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze supplier KPIs (e.g., OTIF, defect rates, cost savings) and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, engineering, and operations teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
- Risk Management: Assess supplier risks (financial, operational, geopolitical) and develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
- Compliance & Sustainability: Ensure suppliers adhere to ethical, environmental, and regulatory standards, promoting sustainable procurement practices.
- Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, material costs, and emerging suppliers to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields. Master’s degree or CIPS certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in procurement, sourcing, or supplier management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or assistant manager role.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in manufacturing, electronics, or logistics sectors, with a strong understanding of global supply chains.
- Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts, reduce costs, and build long-term supplier relationships.
- Analytical Abilities: Proficiency in data analysis, cost modeling, and supplier performance metrics (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
- Project Management: Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
- Communication: Excellent English proficiency (written and verbal) with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and leadership in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
