Responsibility
- Curate and manage an extensive wine list, ensuring a diverse selection of high-quality wines.
- Provide expert wine recommendations and pairings to enhance the dining experience.
- Supervise and train staff on wine knowledge, service standards, and customer interaction.
- Oversee daily operations of the bar and lounge, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain inventory and order supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Develop and implement promotional events and wine tastings to attract and retain customers.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sommelier or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- In-depth knowledge of wines, spirits, and beverage trends.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Certification from a recognized sommelier program is a plus.
