Responsibility
- Lead the research, development, and execution of innovative menus across Filipino, Asian, and Western cuisines.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation meet the highest standards.
- Manage and mentor a diverse culinary team, fostering a culture of creativity, efficiency, and excellence.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to source fresh, high-quality, and sustainable ingredients from local and international suppliers.
- Develop and implement standardized recipes, portion controls, and cost-effective strategies to optimize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations in alignment with global best practices.
- Drive seasonal menu rotations and special culinary events to enhance guest engagement and satisfaction.
- Work closely with front-of-house teams to deliver seamless dining experiences and address guest feedback proactively.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in a high-volume kitchen, with at least 3 years in an Executive Chef or Head Chef role.
- Proven expertise in Filipino, Asian, and Western cuisines, with a passion for fusion and innovation.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop culinary talent.
- Exceptional creative and organizational abilities, with a keen eye for detail in food presentation and flavor profiling.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and sanitation standards.
- Experience in menu costing, budgeting, and inventory management to ensure operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and adapt to evolving culinary trends.
