Avli Modern Greek Uluwatu is seeking a highly skilled and charismatic Sommelier to join our team in the heart of Bali's premier luxury destination. In this role, you will be the cornerstone of our beverage program, curating an exquisite selection of wines that perfectly complement our modern Greek culinary experience.

Responsibility
- Curate, maintain, and evolve an innovative wine list that aligns with our modern Greek cuisine.
- Provide expert wine pairings and recommendations to enhance guest dining experiences.
- Manage cellar inventory, including procurement, stock rotation, and cost control.
- Lead intensive wine training and development sessions for service staff to improve upselling and knowledge.
- Develop and host exclusive wine tasting events and educational workshops.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless integration of food and beverage offerings.
- Maintain impeccable standards of service and presentation in the dining room.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Sommelier in upscale, luxury, or fine-dining establishments.
- WSET Level 2 or 3 certification (or equivalent Court of Master Sommeliers certification) is highly preferred.
- Deep, demonstrable knowledge of regional Greek wines as well as international varietals.
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to engage with a diverse, high-net-worth clientele.
- Solid understanding of cellar management software and inventory systems.
- Excellent leadership skills with a passion for training and mentoring junior staff.
- Ability to thrive in a vibrant, fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
