Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical models, historical data, and market intelligence to support business planning.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align demand plans with business objectives and inventory strategies.
- Monitor and analyze demand variability, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to optimize inventory levels and reduce excess stock.
- Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring cross-functional alignment and data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare and present demand review reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and actionable recommendations.
- Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of demand plans and minimize supply chain disruptions.
- Continuously improve forecasting methodologies and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Act as the primary point of contact for demand-related inquiries, providing expert guidance to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or inventory management, preferably in the Retail & Consumer Products industry.
- Proven expertise in demand forecasting tools (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle Demantra, ToolsGroup, or advanced Excel) and statistical modeling techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Experience leading or contributing to S&OP processes and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros) and Power BI/Tableau for data visualization.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
