Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for Nespressoâs product portfolio, leveraging historical data, market trends, and business insights to optimize inventory levels.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to align demand planning with promotional activities, new product launches, and regional strategies.
- Analyze and assess demand risks, including seasonality, market fluctuations, and supply chain disruptions, to proactively mitigate potential impacts on inventory and sales.
- Monitor and improve forecast accuracy through continuous evaluation of key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementation of best practices in demand planning.
- Manage and maintain inventory data, ensuring data integrity and consistency across systems to support informed decision-making.
- Coordinate with external partners, such as suppliers and logistics providers, to ensure seamless execution of demand plans and timely delivery of products.
- Prepare and present regular reports on demand performance, inventory levels, and forecast accuracy to senior management and stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements in demand planning by identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency gains, and enhanced collaboration across teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. A Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or inventory forecasting, preferably in the retail or consumer goods industry.
- Proven expertise in demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle Demantra, ToolsGroup) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments and cultures.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, international environment with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) or demand planning (e.g., IBF) is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, French) are a plus.
