Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive eye refraction tests to determine accurate lens prescriptions for customers.
- Operate and maintain advanced optical equipment, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards.
- Provide expert consultations on lens types, coatings, and frame selections tailored to individual needs and lifestyles.
- Educate customers on proper eyewear care, usage, and the benefits of specialized lenses (e.g., blue light filtering, anti-glare).
- Collaborate with optometrists and ophthalmologists to ensure seamless referrals and follow-ups for complex cases.
- Manage customer records and prescription data with confidentiality and accuracy in digital systems.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in eyewear fashion and optical technology to offer informed recommendations.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Optometry, Optical Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an optician or refraction specialist, preferably in a retail or clinical setting.
- Certification in optical refraction or a valid license to practice (if applicable).
- Proficient in using autorefractors, phoropters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with diverse customers.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management and sales software is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional languages are advantageous.
