Responsibility
- Install, configure, and commission solar PV systems according to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on solar panels, inverters, and battery storage systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical or mechanical issues in solar energy systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to plan and execute solar installations efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, service reports, and inventory of solar components.
- Educate clients on system operation, energy efficiency, and basic troubleshooting.
- Adhere to local regulations, building codes, and industry best practices for solar energy systems.
- Stay updated on emerging solar technologies, tools, and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Solar PV Technician or in a similar electrical/renewable energy role.
- Certification in solar PV installation (e.g., NABCEP, or equivalent) is a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and DC/AC circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, multimeters, and solar-specific diagnostic equipment.
- Physical fitness to work outdoors, climb ladders, and lift heavy equipment (up to 25 kg).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites across Bali.
