Responsibility
- Create detailed 2D and 3D mechanical designs using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit).
- Develop and modify technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for mechanical systems and components.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure designs meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Perform design validations and simulations to optimize performance, safety, and cost-efficiency.
- Review and interpret engineering data, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines to produce accurate designs.
- Maintain organized documentation of all design files, revisions, and project-related correspondence.
- Provide technical support during the fabrication, installation, and testing phases of projects.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical CAD design, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or infrastructure sectors.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or Fusion 360.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-precision technical drawings.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
