Responsibility
- Design, inspect, and maintain rail track systems, including ballast, sleepers, and rail components, to ensure structural integrity and operational safety.
- Conduct regular site assessments and condition monitoring to identify maintenance needs and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute rail infrastructure projects, adhering to timelines and budget constraints.
- Develop technical specifications, drawings, and reports for rail permanent way upgrades or new constructions.
- Ensure compliance with local and international rail safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to procure materials and oversee installation works.
- Implement innovative solutions to enhance track durability, reduce maintenance costs, and improve system performance.
- Document and analyze track performance data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in rail engineering are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in rail infrastructure, permanent way engineering, or civil construction projects.
- Proven expertise in rail track design, maintenance, or inspection, with familiarity with industry tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- Strong knowledge of rail safety standards, including UIC, AREMA, or local Indonesian rail regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Ability to work in field conditions, including travel to project sites across Bali.
- Certifications in rail safety or project management (e.g., PMP) are highly desirable.
