Join Hummingcomm Corporation as a Photovoltaic (PV) Power Plant Maintenance & Repair Technician in the heart of Bali! We are expanding our renewable energy operations and seeking skilled professionals to ensure the optimal performance, safety, and longevity of our solar power plants across Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, and Badung.
As a key member of our technical team, you will play a vital role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing solar PV systems to maximize energy output and minimize downtime. Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on photovoltaic (PV) solar panels, inverters, batteries, and associated electrical systems.
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults in solar power plants using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct performance testing and efficiency analysis to ensure systems operate at peak capacity.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation of all maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance metrics.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement system upgrades and improvements for enhanced reliability.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards (e.g., OSHA, local regulations) for high-voltage electrical systems.
- Provide emergency response for critical system failures to minimize downtime.
- Train and supervise junior technicians on best practices in solar PV maintenance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in solar PV system maintenance, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in solar PV installation and maintenance (e.g., NABCEP, local equivalents) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, inverters, batteries, and DC/AC circuits.
- Proficiency in using multimeters, I-V curve tracers, thermal imaging cameras, and other diagnostic tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and O&M manuals.
- Physical fitness to work in outdoor environments, at heights, and in varying weather conditions.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and remote monitoring tools for solar plants.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
