Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable system architectures including servers, networks, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using CI/CD pipelines, scripting (Python, Bash), and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices, compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2), and disaster recovery plans.
- Optimize system efficiency through capacity planning, load balancing, and resource allocation.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure resilience and cost-effectiveness.
- Document system configurations, processes, and runbooks for knowledge sharing and onboarding.
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex technical issues and mentor junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, IT infrastructure, or cloud operations.
- Proficiency in Linux/Windows server administration, virtualization (VMware, KVM), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and tooling.
- Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS).
- Certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps, CCNA, or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
