As a certified Chargeman A1, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. Your expertise in troubleshooting, maintenance, and compliance will directly impact the performance of our solar plants, helping to power homes and businesses across Bali with clean energy.
Based in Badung (covering areas like Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, and Kuta), you’ll work alongside a skilled team to maintain high operational standards, minimize downtime, and uphold strict safety protocols. Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and associated electrical components to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct fault diagnosis and troubleshooting on solar plants, identifying and resolving electrical, mechanical, or performance issues efficiently.
- Monitor system performance using SCADA and monitoring tools, analyzing data to detect anomalies and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical safety regulations (including Chargeman A1 standards) and company safety protocols during all operations.
- Prepare and maintain detailed maintenance logs, reports, and documentation for audits and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement system upgrades or modifications as needed.
- Provide on-site technical support during commissioning, testing, and emergency repairs.
- Train and supervise junior technicians or local staff on solar PV maintenance best practices.
Qualifications
- Certified Chargeman A1 (mandatory) with a valid license to work on high-voltage electrical systems in Indonesia.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in solar PV operations, maintenance, or electrical engineering, preferably in utility-scale or commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, DC/AC circuits, and electrical safety procedures.
- Proficiency in using multimeters, insulation testers, thermal imaging cameras, and SCADA software.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team under tight deadlines.
- Physical fitness to perform fieldwork, climb structures, and lift equipment (up to 20 kg).
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional local language skills (e.g., Balinese) are a plus.
