Responsibility
- Design and engineer electrical systems for utility-scale and commercial PV plants, including DC/AC wiring, inverter layouts, and grid connection schemes.
- Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and short-circuit coordination to ensure system efficiency and safety.
- Develop single-line diagrams, schematics, and layout drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVSyst).
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate solar resource potential, shading analysis, and structural requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (civil, mechanical, and project management) to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare and review technical specifications, bill of materials (BOM), and tender documents for procurement and construction.
- Ensure compliance with local and international standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, PEC, and local grid codes).
- Provide technical support during construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; licensed electrical engineer is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in PV system design, solar energy projects, or power distribution.
- Proficiency in PV design software (e.g., PVSyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope) and electrical simulation tools (e.g., ETAP, SKM).
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and grid interconnection requirements.
- Experience with SCADA systems, power quality analysis, and energy storage integration is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
