Responsibility
- Develop and execute a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with business objectives and industry standards (e.g., ISO, ISTQB).
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Design, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for manual and automated testing.
- Oversee functional, regression, performance, and security testing to ensure software reliability and compliance.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to identify risks, prioritize testing efforts, and resolve defects efficiently.
- Establish and monitor QA metrics and KPIs (e.g., defect density, test coverage) to measure team performance and product quality.
- Drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to streamline testing and deployment processes.
- Stay updated with emerging testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance QA capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Postman, Jenkins).
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and QA best practices.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter) and security testing principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to articulate technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or Agile/Scrum are highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment and adapt to evolving project requirements.
