Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for TikTok's AI-powered search algorithms, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and performance.
- Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and product managers to identify and resolve quality issues in search query understanding, retrieval, and ranking.
- Automate testing processes using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) and frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Analyze search performance metrics and user feedback to drive continuous improvements in search quality and user experience.
- Develop and maintain test environments, datasets, and tools to simulate real-world search scenarios.
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and work with development teams to implement fixes and enhancements.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in AI, machine learning, and search technologies to innovate testing methodologies.
- Document test cases, results, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency across the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a similar role, with a focus on AI/ML systems or search technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, and experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, PyTest).
