Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure solutions for cloud and on-premise environments.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with DevOps and software engineering teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
- Develop and enforce infrastructure security policies, including access controls, encryption, and compliance standards.
- Lead disaster recovery and backup strategies to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance infrastructure efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Document infrastructure architecture, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud architecture, or systems administration.
- Proficient in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and virtualization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, VMware).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and task optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar are a plus.
