Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions tailored to maritime and logistics needs.
- Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability through best practices, code reviews, and automated testing.
- Drive technical excellence by staying updated with industry trends and implementing modern technologies and frameworks.
- Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and agile ceremonies to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring robust and secure software solutions.
- Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
