Responsibility

  • Monitor and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, and CrowdStrike to detect and respond to security threats.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for application-related incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to implement best practices for application security and performance.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for incident response procedures, troubleshooting guides, and system configurations.
  • Analyze logs and security alerts to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to address critical incidents outside of business hours.
  • Automate repetitive tasks using scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) to improve efficiency.
  • Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats and industry trends to enhance our security posture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in application support, cybersecurity, or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, and CrowdStrike.
  • Strong understanding of SIEM tools, log analysis, and incident response.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with global teams.
