Responsibility
- Conduct assessments to identify the needs and challenges of individuals and families within the community.
- Develop and implement personalized support plans to address social, emotional, and economic barriers.
- Provide counseling and guidance to clients, helping them navigate life challenges and achieve self-sufficiency.
- Collaborate with community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to coordinate resources and services.
- Organize and facilitate workshops, support groups, and educational programs to promote social cohesion and development.
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to essential services, including healthcare, education, and employment opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes.
- Participate in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about available support services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in social work, community development, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of social services, community resources, and support systems in Bali or similar regions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in case management, counseling techniques, and crisis intervention.
- Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other local languages is advantageous.
- Commitment to ethical practices, cultural sensitivity, and client confidentiality.
