Responsibility
- Administer hemodialysis treatments to patients according to prescribed protocols and standards.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition during dialysis sessions, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Operate and maintain hemodialysis machines and equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
- Educate patients and their families about kidney disease, dialysis procedures, and self-care techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and needs.
- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Valid nursing license and certification in hemodialysis nursing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hemodialysis nursing or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of nephrology, dialysis procedures, and patient care standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Familiarity with medical software and electronic health records.
