Responsibility
- Provide emotional and practical support to women and children in crisis, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with social workers and psychologists.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops to promote healing and personal development.
- Monitor and document residents' progress, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
- Act as a liaison between residents and external agencies, such as healthcare providers and legal services.
- Assist in daily operations of the shelter, including meal coordination, activity planning, and facility maintenance.
- Advocate for residents' rights and needs, ensuring they receive appropriate resources and support.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance professional skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in social services, child welfare, or crisis intervention.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse individuals.
- Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude toward vulnerable populations.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis management techniques.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other local languages is a plus.
