Responsibility
- Research, identify, and evaluate grant opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors aligned with our mission.
- Develop and submit high-quality grant proposals, applications, and reports, ensuring compliance with funder requirements and deadlines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential donors, partners, and stakeholders to secure long-term funding.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align grant strategies with organizational goals and program needs.
- Monitor and track grant performance, providing regular updates and impact reports to funders and internal leadership.
- Design and implement creative fundraising campaigns, including digital and community-based initiatives.
- Stay abreast of trends in nonprofit funding, philanthropy, and social impact to inform strategic decision-making.
- Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, and donor meetings to enhance visibility and partnerships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Social Sciences, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in grant writing, fundraising, or nonprofit development, preferably in education or childcare sectors.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive narratives and proposals.
- Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Experience with donor databases, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Bloomerang), and budget tracking tools.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including foundations, corporations, and individuals.
- Passion for social impact and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in nonprofit funding.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with digital fundraising platforms.
