The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) Indonesia is seeking a dedicated Program Officer, Prevention and Immunization to join our team in Bali. This role is pivotal in bridging implementation gaps in public health programs, focusing on technical regulation, budgeting, and community engagement to enhance immunization coverage and disease prevention efforts.
As a Program Officer, you will collaborate with government agencies, healthcare providers, and local communities to design and implement strategies that strengthen immunization systems. Your work will directly contribute to improving health outcomes and ensuring equitable access to life-saving vaccines across Bali.

Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategies to improve immunization coverage and disease prevention programs in Bali.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders, healthcare providers, and community leaders to align efforts and resources.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance, ensuring adherence to technical regulations and budgetary constraints.
- Conduct community outreach and education initiatives to raise awareness about immunization and prevention measures.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and policy recommendations to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Coordinate with CHAI’s global and regional teams to share best practices and leverage technical expertise.
- Identify and address barriers to immunization access, particularly in underserved communities.
- Support capacity-building efforts for local healthcare workers and program staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Policy, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public health program management, immunization, or disease prevention.
- Strong understanding of Indonesia’s healthcare system and immunization policies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working with government agencies, NGOs, or international health organizations.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional local languages are a plus.
- Ability to travel within Bali and occasionally to other regions as needed.
