Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on SMT machines, pick-and-place systems, reflow ovens, and inspection equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues in production machinery with minimal downtime.
- Calibrate and adjust machine settings to maintain precision and consistency in the manufacturing process.
- Monitor equipment performance, document maintenance activities, and recommend improvements for efficiency gains.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot defects and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery to identify wear and tear, replacing parts as needed.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols, ISO standards, and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in maintaining SMT machines or similar automated manufacturing equipment.
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems, servo motors, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), or Six Sigma principles is advantageous.
- Good command of English (written and verbal) for technical documentation and team collaboration.
- Willingness to work in shift patterns and adapt to evolving production demands.
