Responsibility
- Operate and maintain CNC machines (milling, turning, grinding) to produce high-precision components.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD/CAM files to set up and program machine tools.
- Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and CMM to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.
- Troubleshoot machine issues, perform routine maintenance, and adjust tooling as needed.
- Optimize machining processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to refine designs and resolve technical challenges.
- Document production data, including measurements, adjustments, and downtime, for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machines (Fanuc, Haas, or Mazak controls preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and CAD models.
- Strong knowledge of cutting tools, materials (metals, plastics), and machining techniques.
- Experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM, or Fusion 360) is a plus.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing zero-defect parts.
- Physical ability to lift up to 20 kg and stand for extended periods.
- Basic English communication skills; additional language proficiency is advantageous.
