Responsibility
- Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs using G-code, M-code, and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks) to meet production specifications.
- Set up, calibrate, and operate CNC machines (e.g., mills, lathes) to produce precision components with tight tolerances.
- Perform quality inspections using tools like calipers, micrometers, and CMM to ensure parts meet engineering standards.
- Troubleshoot machine errors, tooling issues, or programming discrepancies to minimize downtime.
- Maintain and clean CNC equipment, including tool changes, lubrication, and routine maintenance checks.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to interpret blueprints, CAD models, and work orders.
- Monitor production efficiency and suggest process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a CNC Programmer/Operator in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in CNC programming (Fanuc, Haas, or Siemens controls) and familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, including milling, turning, drilling, and grinding.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and engineering specifications.
- Hands-on experience with quality control tools and precision measurement instruments.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving production issues.
- Basic English proficiency for technical documentation and team communication.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg as needed.
