Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end SMT digitalization and automation projects, from concept to deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
- Develop and implement Industry 4.0 strategies, including IoT, AI, and robotics, to enhance SMT production efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, operations, IT) to integrate automation solutions into existing manufacturing processes.
- Oversee feasibility studies, risk assessments, and ROI analyses for automation initiatives, presenting findings to senior leadership.
- Design and optimize automated workflows for SMT lines, reducing downtime and improving throughput.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, IATF) in all automation projects.
- Mentor and train teams on new digital tools and automation technologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate the success of automation projects and drive data-driven decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in SMT processes, automation, or digitalization within manufacturing or a related industry.
- Proven track record of leading automation projects from inception to execution, with measurable impact on efficiency or cost savings.
- Strong expertise in Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., PLC, SCADA, MES, AI/ML, robotics, or IoT).
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with SMT equipment (e.g., pick-and-place machines, AOI, reflow ovens) and automation standards.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, German) are a plus.
