Responsibility
- Oversee and optimize back-end SMT processes, including wave soldering, selective wave soldering, and routing operations.
- Monitor and maintain equipment for heat staking, thermal grease application, and conformal coating to ensure high-quality output.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices and safety protocols.
- Document process parameters, adjustments, and outcomes for future reference and audits.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in SMT technology and recommend upgrades or modifications as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SMT backend processes, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of wave soldering, selective wave soldering, and conformal coating techniques.
- Familiarity with equipment used in heat staking, thermal grease application, and routing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using process monitoring tools and software.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Certification in SMT processes or related fields is a plus.
