Responsibility
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for AOI, SPI, and AXI inspection systems during installation, calibration, and operation.
- Develop and optimize application parameters for SMT inspection equipment to meet client-specific production requirements.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and troubleshoot hardware/software issues to minimize downtime and maximize system performance.
- Train and mentor client personnel on system operation, maintenance, and best practices for SMT inspection processes.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to test and validate new inspection algorithms and software updates.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and performance metrics for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends in SMT inspection technologies and recommend improvements to enhance competitiveness.
- Travel to client sites across Bali and potentially Southeast Asia as required to support deployments and service requests.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in SMT inspection systems (AOI/SPI/AXI), semiconductor manufacturing, or PCB assembly.
- Hands-on experience with programming and configuring inspection equipment (e.g., Koh Young, Omron, Viscom, or similar brands).
- Strong knowledge of SMT processes, solder paste printing, component placement, and reflow soldering.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware/software issues and interpreting technical schematics or diagrams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and internal teams effectively.
- Willingness to travel regionally (50-70%) and work flexible hours to support global clients.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia) are advantageous.
