Responsibility
- Manage and optimize material inventories to ensure uninterrupted production supply.
- Develop and implement inventory control systems to minimize waste and reduce costs.
- Monitor production workflows and identify bottlenecks for process improvement.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to streamline material sourcing and delivery.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations in all plant operations.
- Analyze production data to forecast material requirements and prevent shortages.
- Lead or support continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in plant engineering, production, or inventory management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems (e.g., ERP, MRP) and production planning.
- Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and process optimization methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on cost reduction and efficiency.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen principles is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with adherence to deadlines.
