Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end development of solar technology products, from conceptualization to commercialization, ensuring alignment with business goals and market demands.
- Oversee the technical design, engineering, and testing of solar solutions, including photovoltaic (PV) systems, energy storage, and smart grid integrations.
- Drive innovation in solar technology by researching emerging trends, evaluating new materials, and implementing advanced manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, operations, and sales, to ensure seamless product deployment and customer satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with local and international standards (e.g., IEC, UL, SNI).
- Develop and implement technical training programs for internal teams and external stakeholders to promote best practices in solar technology adoption.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics of deployed solar solutions, identifying opportunities for optimization and scalability.
- Represent Ji Ayala & Company at industry conferences, trade shows, and government forums to advocate for renewable energy policies and expand market reach.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in solar technology, renewable energy, or a related engineering field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing solar product development projects, including PV systems, inverters, and energy storage solutions.
- Strong technical expertise in solar technology, including knowledge of PV cell design, system integration, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with international and local regulations governing renewable energy, such as grid interconnection standards and safety certifications.
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, MS Project).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving the adoption of clean energy solutions.
