Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of electrical systems, including wiring, panels, and equipment, to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Identify and document electrical hazards, defects, or non-compliance issues, providing detailed reports and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to review electrical designs, blueprints, and installation plans for adherence to codes and specifications.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance checks on electrical infrastructure to mitigate risks and ensure operational efficiency.
- Verify the proper installation and functionality of electrical components, including transformers, switchgear, and distribution systems.
- Stay updated on the latest electrical codes, industry standards, and technological advancements to enhance inspection methodologies.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior inspectors and on-site personnel on best practices for electrical safety and compliance.
- Participate in project meetings and site visits to offer expert insights and ensure the seamless execution of electrical projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent technical certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical inspection, maintenance, or a similar role within the construction or engineering sector.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations, including Indonesian national electrical codes (PUIL) and international standards (IEC, NEC).
- Proven ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Certification in electrical safety or inspection (e.g., Certified Electrical Inspector) is a plus.
