Responsibility
- Perform MIG, TIG, and arc welding on sheet metal and metal components with precision.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and production specifications to fabricate metal parts.
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, including grinders, cutters, and shaping machines.
- Repair and modify metal components as required to meet production needs.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Document work progress and report any issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in sheet metal fabrication.
- Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is a plus.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc welding).
- Ability to operate welding tools and machinery safely.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle metal components.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
