Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot technical issues efficiently, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to install, configure, and test new systems or upgrades.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacements in compliance with company standards.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff or other departments as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance technical expertise.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Technician in a manufacturing, industrial, or high-tech environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, or electrical controls.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and other technical equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with team members and management.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
