Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of cold storage electrical and refrigeration systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues in cold storage facilities, ensuring rapid resolution.
- Monitor energy consumption and optimize systems for cost efficiency and sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety standards, including electrical codes and refrigeration regulations.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement of spare parts and equipment upgrades.
- Train and mentor junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering or refrigeration systems, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in cold storage maintenance, including ammonia/CO2 refrigeration systems and industrial electrical installations.
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems, HVAC, and automation technologies used in cold storage facilities.
- Certification in electrical engineering, refrigeration, or a related field (e.g., AHRI, EPA 608).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call duties for emergency repairs.
