Responsibility
- Set up, calibrate, and operate production machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor machine performance, adjusting settings as needed to ensure optimal output and product quality.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Perform quality checks on finished products, identifying defects and reporting discrepancies to supervisors.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to workplace hazard guidelines.
- Maintain accurate production logs, documenting output, machine status, and any issues encountered.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot technical issues and implement process improvements.
- Ensure workspace cleanliness and organization to uphold 5S standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Machine Operator in manufacturing, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
- Technical proficiency in operating CNC, injection molding, or other industrial machinery (training provided for the right candidate).
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints, schematics, or work instructions.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to producing defect-free products.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20–25 kg as required.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface navigation.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills in English.
