Responsibility
- Operate and monitor ink mixing machines to blend pigments according to precise color formulas.
- Perform routine quality checks on mixed inks to ensure color consistency and adherence to specifications.
- Calibrate and maintain mixing equipment to optimize performance and prevent downtime.
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with industry standards.
- Document production data, including batch numbers, color codes, and mixing parameters for traceability.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical or formulation issues and escalate complex problems to the maintenance team.
- Collaborate with production and quality control teams to meet daily output targets and product standards.
- Assist in the setup and testing of new color formulations as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating mixing machinery in manufacturing (plastic, paint, or ink industries preferred).
- Strong understanding of color theory and pigment blending techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, color codes, and production specifications.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, consistent results.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to production schedules.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in chemical processing or machinery operation is a plus.
