Responsibility
- Set up, operate, and monitor flexo or rotogravure printing machines to produce high-quality printed plastic materials.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect printed materials for defects, color accuracy, and alignment, making adjustments as needed.
- Follow strict safety protocols and adhere to company quality control standards.
- Prepare and mix inks, solvents, and other materials according to production specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and material usage.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot technical issues and improve efficiency.
- Ensure workspace and machinery are clean and organized in compliance with 5S standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Printing Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastic or packaging industries.
- Proficient in operating flexo, rotogravure, or similar printing machines.
- Strong understanding of color matching, ink mixing, and substrate materials (e.g., plastic films).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and production specifications.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and minor equipment repairs.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing defect-free output.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.
- Willingness to work in shift-based schedules (including weekends/holidays if required).
