Responsibility
- Operate and maintain CNC milling machines to produce precision components.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files to set up machining operations.
- Program, edit, and optimize CNC machine tool paths for efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).
- Troubleshoot machine issues, perform routine maintenance, and ensure minimal downtime.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to meet project deadlines.
- Document production processes, adjustments, and quality control results.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Milling Machinist (minimum 3 years preferred).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming (G-code, M-code) and CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam).
- Ability to operate manual milling machines as a backup when needed.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-precision parts.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems is a plus.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to workflow optimization.
